At Showa Boston, in addition to developing programs and devising marketing strategies, she enjoys mentoring students and working with faculty and staff on projects. Certified as a Trainer of Trainers by Global Learning Partners, Junko has extensive experience in providing training and consulting services to educational, social service, and community organizations. At Tufts University, she led faculty development, youth leadership development and organizational development workshops and trainings. She also taught classes, such as “Japanese Women: Image and Reality” and “Leadership Development: Theory and Practice” at Tufts.
She has a B.A. in English Literature from Baika Women’s College in Japan, a B.A. in History from Hunter College in NYC, an M. A. in History from Columbia University, as well as a certificate in East Asian Area Studies from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia.
